Since you don't mention anything about being able to throw or catch a football? that leaves playing a lineman position.

If you have a nasty attitude and like to hit people, play defense.

If you can catch, you could be a TE or FB.

Heck, can you kick a ball?, you'd be a hella- punter or kicker.

Just show up to practice, the coaches know drills and tests to see what suits the skills you have.

You're going to grow.

If you grow up only, you could be one hell of a secondary defensive player (safety... CB if you speed up). You could also be a great TE on offense, or a fullback if you speed up. If you really speed up, wide receiver isn't a bad choice... but you're kind of weighty for that.

Now, if you grow OUT, You're looking at offensive or defensive line, perhaps an inside linebacker... MAYBE a tight end.

The easy answer is to say to play wherever your high school coach tells you to play, but I disagree with that. How far do you want to go in football? See yourself as a lineman, ballhandler or defense?

Look kid, for 14 years old, those numbers are great, but with a press like that and that much weight, most high school coaches will stick you on the line... but your other numbers tell me you can play just about anywhere. Think about whether you want a football scholarship or not, or just want to play for a known college. Then ask yourself where you need ot be to get there.

I'm not putting down high school coaches, but I've seen many talented kids who could have jumped the hurdles to the NFL via college get stuck in a lineman slot in high school and wither. If you end up on the line, do what it takes ot be the best lineman.

Oh, and respect yourself by respecting others. You'll be fine. Good luck.

Start with your high school coach. Play wherever you're needed. Recruiters will notice if you are truly a gifted athlete worthy of a scholarship. Many high school players do not play the same position in college. Besides, at 14 years of age, you still have some growth left to go. Good luck.....

Well, the coolest thing is to try for Quarterback, but I think if you're not sure, you should probably try them all and then choose the one you're best in.

You're a freshman you do have time, and what's the use to choose one position and play that forever and never realize you could be great in another one.

Try them all, find the place you're most DANGEROUS, and then go kick ***!

You'll be the best, I'm sure. Good luck.

Get reps on O and D. I suggest safety, but your only 14, you could still be a starter at backer or running back with more muscle. Buf for now i suggest practice with the safties

You'd make a good fullback on offense and maybe a linebacker or defensive end on defense.

in highschool you would make a great linebacker. keep adding muscle and the speed is good. your probably strong enough to be a lineman, but linebacker sounds better. be the next ray lewis.
