I bought a good pair of jeans but have gain a few pounds since then. They are the kind that comes w/ lycra so it stretches but not enough...my question is, how much does it cost to get the waist bigger (probably 1-1.5 inches bigger for me). How does a tailor do that? do they add extra material to the zip area? Any experts out there? What about those diy thing they have out there ie: magic button or those stretching equipment to temporary increase the waist size

There would desire to be a length chart. there is not any commonly used length chart, you will would desire to look to make certain if their website has one. right this is the single i exploit: length sixteen= height = 66 a million/4 inces bust= 37 3/4 waist= 30 3/4 hips= 40 a million/4 lower back length= sixteen 3/5 sleve length= 24 neck width= 15 facet leg length= 40-one front waist llength= 18 a million/2 bust element= 11 a million/2 bigger arm circumfrence= 11 7/8 in spite of the undeniable fact that, because of the fact of yank conceitedness sizing, a length sixteen is possibly to be plenty larger than this.

It would cost about $10 for a tailor to stretch your jeans for you. You can lose 1.5 inches in 2 weeks by walking for 15 minutes every day and eating healthy. You should lose the extra inch in your waist, and put the $10 towards getting your nails done.

I believe you can take them to the cleaners, and or if you have a sewing machine and know how to use it is another story. If you do know how. You can get extenders at Walmart in the sewing section. and sew them on but have to were a long shirt with that look tacky but can be hidden from the shirt. if you are a really good seem-tress then you can rip out the butt seam and add an half inch there and then add an half inch all around to the front after you have ripped out the pants just remember to pin every thing to get a good seem and they also have patterns at Walmar of pants instructions to get more of an idea of how to sew those areas. Good luck to you....

You need to search around, most tailors would do it for a couple of bucks if they don't do that for a living.

are they really expensive? are they new? if not, just don't bother... or you can put it aside for later, when you lose those pounds. most people tend to change their cloths to fit their bodies (not that it's a bad thing), but if you always let yourself back out... you're gonna keep growing and growing.
try to control yourself and exercise. even if you got that waistline enlargened... it still wouldnt look as good.
so try to lose weight, just those that you gained.
