My husband and I have both got back problems...we need better sleep, what are some excellent mattresses. I posted this question where i thought it would get educated responses....if we don't get a new mattress we might get a divorce!!! Ha Ha Ha!!

Tempur-Pedic, made 4 nasa astronauts 2 use in space. their commercials do not lie. u can jump on the bed and not spill a glass if it is on the bed. i have 36 yr. old handsome son that is paralyzed...his back hurts if a fly lands on him. i got him the tempur-pedic & he can now sleep. it conforms 2 the body...like being in the womb. his has motor to raise & lower & massage unit. more in price than conventional mattress but ohhhhh soooooo worth it.

I have to say our Memory foam mattress was the best thing we have ever bought. I slept through the night even at 9 months pregnant on it. My husband has back problems and it has been the only thing so far that he has been able to sleep on. I researced memory foam and was able to buy a decent one online. Just make sure you know what you are getting. There are alot of people out there not sellling what you think you are geting.

Agree with Melissa. Memory foam mattresses are worth their weight in gold. I damaged a disc when I fell through some floor boards as a teenager, and my boyfriend was recently in an accident. We'll be investing in one very shortly.

My husband has back problems and we got one of those memory foam mattresses. He says it really helps him out.. Although there isn't that extra bounce when doing the funky.

My mattress is a combination of memory foam and latex. I spent $1600.00 and it was worth every penny.
