it was return of the jedi because luke almost turns when he fights darth, he goes ape and slices his hand off, anger leads to the dark side.
then i saw revenge of the sith, WOW. that was the best. all you old school buiffs can kiss my a*se, i have a bigger figure colection than all of you it's worth thousands so i know! i can understand why he turns to the dark side, if i thought my wife was going to die in child brith i would do the same, that emperor is one evil mo fo.
Episode 3 is where you realize that star wars is not about Luke, it's about Anakin and his life, going from light to dark and then back to the light, a true story of redemption. amazing.

I like all of them but I think I have to go with A New Hope, which is now Episode 4 and The Empire Strikes Back, now Episode 5. Can't even count the number of times I've seen those =)

They are all towering achivements in terms of film-making and cultural impact, but the best of the lot (both in my view and in general fan opinion) is Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back, though the Original is of course the classic that started it all. Personally I am a big fan of Episode III, perhaps because it is so 'fresh' but also because it capures some of the dark 'bad guys win' feel of episode V. I love them all, each in their own ways. If I had to choose one, it would be The Empire Strikes Back.

Ooh, toughie!! I'd say either the Episode IV: A New Hope, because of its humor and character, or Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, because it had lots of drama, humor, and heart. Probably Return of the Jedi. Luke's just an awesome Jedi. Much better than stuffy old Yoda or the stiff Mace Windu. He at least had character.

DAMMMMMMMM!! I liked Star Wars Episode 2 and Episode 1 only because Anakin Skywalker is older and HOTTER!! Lol. Do you think that their going to make another Episode? Because i mean, in the last one, the had twins and that just cant stay like that!

"A New Hope," or as we called it back in my day "Star Wars." It's not really the best, but it is the original, and that trumps everything else.
