I was on Clomid two months ago, got pregnant my first month, had a M/C and now am back on it. I have heard a lot of women say that they got PG right away the first time, then M/C, then it took them like 6 months to conceive again. Can you tell me if you or someone you know has had a good or bad experience the 2nd time around? thanks

Well clomid is a medication that helps you ovulate. This is usually the first drug they give to couples trying to reproduce. I was given 50mg of clomid for five days.
The medicine was successful on the first try. I am now almost 7 months pregnant. I don't think clomid contributes to miscarriages.
You have to remember that most of the women using clomid are on it because they have problems on their own. So that can just be the woman's body and have nothign to do with clomid.
Hope this helped

I took clomid on the third cycle I conceived I am now 6 weeks pregnant and have an appointment for an ultrasound to hear the heartbeat on Monday. Once there is a heartbeat and it is stable for about 2-3 weeks there is a 1% chance of a miscarriage.

i have never heard of anyone even having success with clomid at all so you are one step ahead having at least fallen pregnant whilst on it

i took clomid for about 12 months and had no success, i then did ovualtion induction where i injected ivf drugs and then after all that fell pregnant naturally

for every person that fell pregnant straight after there will be one that didnt

stay positive - if it worked once for you there is no reason that it wont work again

it took me 3 years so i undertand the waiting

I was on 3 cycles of Clomid and never once became pregnant. I have heard that some woman do get pregnant right away on it, but it isn't that normal. I still haven't gotten pregnant.

Good luck.

I don't know specifically about that drug, but just remember, 70% of pregnancies are miscarried, often before the women even knew she was pregnant. I know it's hard and must be devastating for you, but just relax and enjoy the closeness you have from trying to make a baby. Once your body is a lot less stressed, it will come.

Clomid should not be given un assisted . If you get pregnant you should get progesterone hormonal support at once.
