Them officials gotta be playing with themselves. SC should be the Top dawg on everbody's list.

Notre Dame, Ohio State and Texas are all overrated as a mofo.

Y'all can't keep the Champs down for long.

California Stand Up.

I think #3 is about right for 'SC right now, they will move up this week at least one spot with Texas and Ohio State playing tomorrow night. The Trojans did lose quite a bit from last year, and I still think it's damn good that they are #3.....I was very impressed with their win over Arkansas last Saturday night. Booty looked very comfortable at QB taking over from Leinart. USC has recruited so well these last few years, it would not surprise me if USC is in the running for the national championship when all is said and done. Pete Carroll is one heckuva coach!!

But I wouldn't say that Texas, Ohio State and Notre Dame are overrated. These teams can flat out play. I think it's so balanced this year, there might not be any undefeated teams at the end of the year.

And at # 3 they are still in the hunt for # 1. Notre Dame, Ohio State and Texas are all in the hunt for # 1. The season is very young. Lets just wait and see how the season looks after 5 or 6 games. Be leery of Nebraska. By the way, they prefer to be known as Southern California, NOT Southern Cal.

Because the ranking system for Collegian sports is based on who can bring in the most dollars in a main event such as the rose bowl...very much like the NFL last year with the super bowl

We're just one week into the season...what difference does it make where a team is ranked right now? Has to be at least after game five before you can get any realistic kind of idea what the top ten really is...

It doesn't matter who is ranked no.1 right now. Let's see who is no.1 at the end of the year. USC could be there.

Dude they just lost 93.6% of there total offense from last year. And thats a real stat. I don't even think they should be ranked as high as they are.
