Its slope is an opposite reciprocal.
For example,
Slope Line A = 1/4
Perpendicular Line A = -4/1 (-4)

The slope of what? The lines are perpendicular. The slope of one with respect to the other is infinity. The other one is zero with respect to the first. Since the lines could be in any orientation or plane and still be perpendicular, it really tells me nothing about the slope of either line. Also, you can know everything about one line and still not know much about the other except that it is perpendicular to the first. One line might represent an axis about which the other rotates.
