My family wasnt even in america for 100 years let alone 35 on one side of the family. I really don't understand the question or your point. I do believe though there is a new form of racsism where people are scared to say anything that might be seen to be derogative to another race or creed. It may not be tolerated if I used the N*gger word to describe a black person, but it is ok for black people to use it amongst themselves. I am not even sure i can use the phrase 'black people' or whether the term is 'non caucasian'. Positive descrimination is its name.

It exists in all cultures. I can understand where you are coming from on this one. In RI we have a large Italian population,the Irish happenes to immigrate here first and treated the poor Italians like dirt. When they got over the fighting, some of them married.
