You can download a windows version of apache at

http://httpd.apache.org/docs/1.3/windows.html

There's plenty of information on the site to help you set it up.

You would need to get a static IP address from your broadband provider, a DNS hosting service, and install IIS or another web hosting software like DRUPAL or APACHE on your computer

I wouldn't recoomend it.

Now days you can buy hosting for much much less than it would cost you to setup a decent server.

http://www.getawebpage.net

That site lists the 10 best hosting companies. A few are less than $5 a month.

definitely takes a load of items to do this, do you have a few thousand dollars to invest? if so you will need a server, and contact your ISP to get you setup for this - or just get hosting at startlogic for 5 bucks a month (makes more sense) and will save you thousands. http://www.interkeys.com/tophosts
