Ask her never to ask that question; it's one where there is no answer that's safe.

If you say "Yes," she'll take that to mean you think she's fat and unattractive.

If you say, "No," she'll think you're lying and that you think she's fat and unattractive.

The best way to answer the question is to say, "No, you look good in just about everything." If she says she thinks she looks fat in them, say, "Well, how about trying on a different pair that makes you feel better?"

What you can do is tell her that the pants don't emphasize her strengths. If she is busty, tell her to emphasize that, or whatever her strengths are. That way you are talking about the things that make her beautiful, not the things that make her feel unattractive.

That is a acceptable lie to tell your wife, cause if you tell her the truth , you might end up on the couch or worse.

dont tell her that she looks fat in her pants. just say something like, "they're ok but i've seen nicer" or "of course you look great in them....you look great in everything."
