You get the love relationship up full or almost full and get the said Sim in a really good mood (food, fun and letting them use the bathroom once in awhile) and then you should see a new social interaction, ask to marry, and thats it. If all is we'll the Sim will agree and you will have another new member to your family household.

Make a sim of yourself and then force them to spend lots and lots of time together doing flirty and romantic type things. Also, watch the random things your Sims want to do. Sometimes that'll ruin it at the beginning. Then get them engaged and married. Btw, which version of the Sims are you using? Sims 1 or 2?

The Sims 3 isn't even assume to be released until eventually June 2d, so as that information isn't familiar yet. in the sims 2 you had to get the sims to have intimate social strikes (hugging, kissing etc.) to get them to fall in love and then the alternative 'propose engagement' might grow to be obtainable.

in the sims you can make a red poitan by making a contructoin thing and it has to be red drink it and a sim will fall in love and ask them to marry

you have to find a sim that is compatible to your sim. you have to make them talk to see if they will eventually fall for each other. once you see a that they can flirt and hug one another them make the kiss. usually one ask to move in with the other one, but you just have to keep trying until you reach your goal.
