1977 European Cup winners.
This team had everything. They won the championship, lost the FA cup final and went to Rome the next wednesday to win the European Cup. That takes real strength of character. And superb leadership. The latter was provided by 'Sir' Bob Paisley and Crazy Horse ( Emlyn Hughes ).

on paper liverpool always have a great team with youth, flair and passion, yet fail to play to each others strength. Yet da team of yesteryear were fighters, gritty and committed, so for me it is a combination of the 77 euro winning team and da 2005 euro winning team. thank you very much, i'll be here all week!
