ritz is alittle too salty in my opinion. give him water with it.
I would give my children either arrowroot, plain soda crackers (no salt), and sometimes a graham cracker.

It really depends on how many teeth he or she has. You may want to break it up for them first to make sure they don't choke. But I would still stick to the baby cookie and crackers that almost melt in the mouth. That way you don't have to worry. When he gets to 12 months, and has more teeth you can start introducing more crackers. Oh, the Breton ones are actually good cause they are thinner and the Ritz are thick and take more to chew and swallow.

The don't have to have any teeth to eat them. My son at 7 months was given little tiny pieces. As long as they have the chewing motion down they can have them. My son was a preemie so he had no teeth until just before his first birthday. Actually my mom's dentist told her that graham crackers are horrible for a child's teeth because they get compacted in them and even with brushing it is next to impossible to get them out. He has seen a lot of kids with cavities that are not given candy very often that are given graham crakcers a lot.

It really depends on how well they are able to eat finger type foods. I know with my kids, I broke them into little pieces, and gave them only a couple of pieces at a time, so that they wouldn't end up with a mouth full and choke.
Hope this helps you out.

see you later as there is not any time-honored or suspected nutrients hypersensitive reaction, your new child can eat the very similar meals as something else of the smaller. serve smaller parts & with a lot less texture. this can ward off hundreds of money cuz you received't concentration on processed nutrients marketed to little ones.

well, its really your decision, but our advice here might help. I gave our daughter at that age. But be sure to supervise them because they still tend to choke easily. But yes go ahead, because they suck them up easily, even arrowroot, farleys biscuits are good for when they are teething, cuz they are a little harder-with texture.

Yes as long as he is able to gum the cracker to soften it, if not he could choke. Just watch him/her, it should be fine. :)
