I was actually taking B12 shots and I reccomend giving them in the lower back/upper bottom because there is more fat there so it will hurt her less. They're actually really painful in your arm, especially if your mother's arm is thin. You'll have more room anyway if you give it to her on her upper bottom (i know it might be akward, but it may be safer). Good luck...and remember, stay calm and don't be nervous. Steady hand. Make sure she's comfortable and relaxed as well.

Shots into muscle are not hard to give and you will do fine.
Have the nurse show you how to do it and pratice some on an orange and you will be fine.
It is not hard and anyone can learn to give them.
You can not really hurt her anyway. You are going to be shooting into the back side of the arm and there is nothing you could hit and hurt.

If you are nervous about giving the shots, ask your doctor if she can take B12 sublingually. All she has to do it is to put it under her tongue and it starts working fast.

Make an appointment with your mother's doctor. Ask him or his nurse to show you the proper method for administering the shot. From there you should be golden

Get someone qualified to teach you how to administer the shots. Your Mom is lucky to have you helping her.

call the pharmacy, or go in during non-peak hours and have them help you give them the first time
