When your body is preparing for its first period, you will notice a vaginal discharge. You can have this discharge for a 6 - 12 months before your period will arrive.
Because it is your first period it will just arrive hun. But your period usually arrives anytime between the ages of 9 and 16. So it may not arrive yet.
Signs that your period is going to arrive is tummy cramping or a tummy ache, breast soreness or nipple tenderness and you may be more moody than usual.
Apart from this it is just a waiting game hun.

I got mine the week I turned 12 haha ... but anyway here you go...
For most girls, their first menstrual period, or menarche (say: meh-nar-kee), begins about 1 1/2 to 2 years after breast development starts. In some girls, the time from the beginning of puberty to getting the first menstrual period may take only 6 months; for other girls, it may take longer - up to 3 years. Every girl is different, and there is a wide range of normal development during puberty.
A good sign you're getting close to the time when your first period will arrive is if you notice a thick, white mucous discharge coming from your vagina. Usually, this happens for a number of months before you get your first period.

Unfortunately you can't know for sure when it's coming for the first time. Some people estimate that it comes one year after your breasts start developing, but that didn't hold true for me (nor did looking to when my mom started hers... that was way off!)
You may get some signs like bloating, cramps in your lower abdomen, headaches, mood swings, etc... These are frequently the signs that women get when their period is coming. I had no warning at all that mine was about to come... it was just there one day. At your age, it would be a good idea to carry a pad in your purse just in case; most brands come individually wrapped in a little plastic packet so it can just find its way to the bottom of your purse or backpack until you need it.
