You could go dressy or more casual (but not too casual). It's a nice place but a casual way to eat so it's okay to wear whatever you want.

It depends on the occasion, of course. There are very few restaurants that have a strict dress code and the Melting Pot is not one of them. However, it is a nice place and somewhere people go when they feel like having a nice dinner out, maybe celebrate something. In that vein, it would not be out of place to dress up or appear in "smart casual". Either way, you will probably ft right in. "Smart casual" is always a good choice when you don't really know what the general dress code is. If you are really worried about, you can always call the restaurant and ask: that would be a perfectly valid question.

I've heard of this restaurant. Is it in Sacramento? I believe it's pretty classy. I would wear either a nice black dress and a nice necklace or a nice pair of Jeans and a sexy top. Make sure your nails and makeup look nice. When you eat, your hands and face make the biggest impression (next to your personality of course).

First you'll need to explain what a melting pot restaurant is.

Jeans and a cute t-shirt that matches with your fave accessories. That way you'll be able to show the people in the resturant that you have a great sense of style no matter where you go. (If you wear a white T,bring a bleach pen)*just in case

I answered your question about you being afraid of everything. Aren't you scared to go to this restaurant ?? Even the name is frightening. I'd just stay home myself. ~~
