You sound as if you've got your head screwed firmly on and he sounds like he has no brain at all. Girl, think of where you see your future with this boy and think of where you see your future starting of single and then getting a succesful, handsome man who loves and respects you. I'd choose option B. If other guys are attracted to you and are better than your bf, then go out with them and leave him in jail or wherever he goes, cuz he doesnt sound like a very nice young man:)
Have a fantastic weekend
Peace

No you're not being selfish. What would be selfish would be haning on to him ANd ssing other people. You are doing the right thing by letting him go. He may enjoy his college life better being single too.

You will come across a ton of hot new guys in college. I think you should start college with a clean slate. College is difficult enough. You don't need additional distractions, such as an irresponsible boyfriend.

You shouldnt be in a relationship that you think you cant get out of. Sounds to me, you grew up, and he didnt. Talk to him about being mature about life and you & mainly the relationship. If you 2 cant decide on anything, Im sorry but end it. Also, you could always try to wait. But I waited for an ex....and it was forever.

YOU ARE SO NOT BEING SELFISH!!!!! id say RIGHT ON!!! for u to break up with him. I had the same problem. My bf was a total a$$hole and i still loved him, but then my love started chipping away and then i realized not only is he abusing me (not physically) but me staying with him just meant i was abusing myself. and then i broke up with him and felt SO MUCH BETTER like you wouldnt belive. Im actually happy now. So do whats best for urself, take care of yourself first, God did NOT put you on this earth just to be this dude's girlfriend. That dumbass deserves for you o break up with him so GO FOR IT!!!!!! :-)

It's not being selfish dumping him, it's being STUPID staying with him.

Many, many people go to college single. There's absolutly nothing wrong with it. I went to college single and it really helps you make friends and it helps you get used to and enjoy the college experience because you aren't constantly running home to see him.

Dump him, go to college, and enjoy being single. It's fun. Dont be dick whipped and stay with him.

No that's not being selfish. It's called moving on and living your own life.

Hey, people grow apart. And up. If you want to end it, end it.

And then hopefully head off to a different college.
