It’s like matching 100-meter dash Olympic champions against one another with unequal and randomly varying judgment criteria for each one! Are we saying that some souls are stronger than others, so they deserve to be tested to the breaking point? Is heaven letting the "weak of soul" pass through the cracks? And why shouldn’t all souls be created equally? …. Or is this whole "soul business" but another frustrated and transcendence-seeking human fairytale invention to overcome?

Mannnn... You're good. This one deserves 10 points easy. I can't speak for all the other souls, but If I'm to be judged then let it be for my capacity for good and efforts for good that I've made and plan to make. I'm for sure not perfect, but then again we live in world that is not perfect either, so we try to make the best of circumstances. Just hope my best is good enough.
I don't known whether souls are created equall or if the soul business is "another frustrated and transcendence-seeking human fairytale", but I believe in something more and better than just this.

Good question. Then again, why join the game if one would not play by the rules?

I mean why would one believe in soul if one does not see some value in it. Having seen some value in having a soul, would one then not want to sacrifice something for the benefit of it?

There is no such thing as a free lunch.

Because there are no words to say, conversation doesn't cease.

Because there is death, life is living itself.

Enlightenment is like the
moon reflected on the water.
The moon does not get wet,
nor is the water broken.
Although its light is wide and great,
the moon is reflected even
in a puddle an inch wide.
The whole moon and the entire sky
are reflected in dewdrops on the grass,
or even in one drop of water.
- Dogen (1200-1253)

When we finally hear ourselves beneath words in silence, we let fall all unnecessary noise.

No one has ever failed to be listened to who listens to themselves. We are the ones unhearing ourselves. When we listen and hear who we are and what we are saying, no one is abandoned, no one homeless.

In the sight of, in the presence of all the peoples, said Simeon:

It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he should not see death before he had seen the Christ of the Lord. He came in the Spirit into the temple; and when the parents brought in the child Jesus to perform the custom of the law in regard to him, he took him into his arms and blessed God, saying: “Now, Master, you may let your servant go in peace, according to your word, for my eyes have seen your salvation, which you prepared in the sight of all the peoples: a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and glory for your people Israel.” (Luke 2)

When we see who is there within listening and watching, we are alone.

With the Alone.

Unbroken, reflected, whole, and entire – even in one drop of water.

Gods work is not a fairytale.

oh please, who ever told you anything was supposed to be fair? it seems obvious to me that each soul is tested differently according to each ones' needs or faults and not according to it's strength. we are each tested to the breaking point again and again, whether it looks like it to the outside world or not......do you feel like you are missing a piece of yours? i have enough to spare.
