The key to applying liquid eye liner is a steady hand and a felt tip. Make sure your eyeliner has a felt tip because it's easier to control that way. Then when applying it, start at the inside corner of your eye and drag the pen across your eyelid making sure to be as close to your upper lashes as possible. Sometimes I rest my hand on my cheek to keep a steady hand. This is about all the advice I can give. The rest is all practice, practice, practice!

You have to have a steady hand, and it does take practice. Usually the liquid eyeliner has a brush in the bottle you use. First put it up to your eyelid, close to the eyelash. Now use the brush to paint it on, remember to keep close to the eyelash-line or it'll look bad.You might want to make it thicker as you go to have that dramatic look. Here are some sites that might help.

you gotta practice a lot.
first, make sure that it's good eyeliner, or it might clog your pores and result in a sty (the itchy bump along the eyelids).
then, make sure the brush has just the right amount of liquid. hold you face near a mirror(also well lit) and start from the inside corners then pull out. keep your hand steady and light!
good luck...
you gotta keep doing it until it comes naturally.

The same as pencil, close your eye and lightly pull back on your eyelid so that it looks like your slanting your eye, then apply the liner. liquid does get messy and agravating to apply it.

I would stick with a fine tipped pencil.

Well, what I do is that I use one hand to pull my eyelid so that it's straight. I also keep it half closed. Then apply the eyeliner in any style you like. Let it dry a bit before you fully open your eyes though.

most come looking like a pen so gently pull your eyelid straight and draw a line as close to ur lash line as u can get. once u get used to that then u can try coming out and up on the ends for a cat eye effect

Honestly eyeliner is VERY hard to explain over the internet. You need visualization.

liquid eyeliner is tricky. if your gonna wear it u need a steady hand and u should apply it thin. if you apply it to heavy its just too much.
