by the way, did you know Britain has had seven Scottish Prime Ministers since 1894, starting with Cambell-Bannerman? Not counting Tony Blair who was born there but cllas himself an Englishman. England has had a cricket captain from Scotland (Mike Denness) and the world has had a Scots squash champion (Peter Nicol).

But the Scot who ought to be the most famous of all isn't. Tell me, who was the first to introduce whisky to the rest of the world?
