Depends where you are... it's the Midlands, just under and to the left of Nottingham, about 15 miles I think and it is around 10 miles North-East of Lough borough... and another five or six miles from Leicester.
It's around 85 miles from me in Northampton...
I lived their eight years, left four daughters there with new lives and Derby husbands, and their new families, as I traversed with ex's job... and six of my twelve grandchildren are Derby kids... so careful what you say about them up there!
Beautiful place... brilliant scenery and super people!

Derbyshire its the midlands there`s also the Peak district national park and my favourite place Castleton that's where mother Shiptons caves are and the only place in the world where blue-john is found(semi precious stone)
