i had saw only two black news anchors on tv. one on abc good morring america and the other on cnn international news program. why are there not more blacks anchoring news in the news networks like cnn, abc, nbc, cbs, msnbc, cnbc, fox, cnnheadline and bbc

There are a lot of Asian and Black women who work as news anchors. Examples: Soledad O'Brien, Sue Palka and the woman from good Morning America.

Blacks make up 12% of the US population. Not 50% like the media would like you to believe. There have been hispanic, Black & asian anchors in the major networks. People always ask loaded questions like this where are the outragous questions like
Why aren't there more whites in the NBA?
Why are there more black athletes in football?
Why are there so many whites in hockey?
Where are all the #1 ranked hatian tennis pros?
Why aren't more vegans in competetive eating?
Give me a break .. true diversity includes everyone as they are not as you think they should be.

The anchor spot is the top of the food chain and one usually gets it by seniority. In time minorities will hold those spots with more regularity. It just takes time.
