I distinctly a lot sense like I misplaced a buddy. i'd watch his educate with my toddlers distinctly a lot daily. He had any such interest for animals and he confirmed a lot enthusiasm no matter if he became speaking about some thing cuddly like a koala or some thing as risky as a crocodile. before Steve, I in no way spoke of the ask your self in crocs, yet at the same time as he defined their courtship and the mum's care of the more youthful it became no longer plausible to imagine of crocs because the chilly-blooded killers that I had realized about as a baby. i will bypass over him and that i'm praying for his family individuals.

I really never watched his shows but I was so sad for days. I loved his zest for life and his enthusiasm for his work. I feel so bad for his wife and daughters. I know what it is like to lose a parent as a child and it's dreadfully sad. But if he had to die so young, at least he died doing what he loved instead of a car crash or something like that.

i will never forget the image of steve irwin talking to the camera while sharks were in a feeding frenzy all around him while he stood in the water...the guy was a crazy kook but he was fascinating, funny and very entertaining...i kind of felt one day his luck would run out the way he took risks dealing with wildlife but i would never have guessed it would take a stingray to be the culprit....my condolences to his friends and family....he was one of a kind and his legacy will continue as his shows run on animal planet

I always thought he was kinda nuts, but in a funny way. I could think of at least a dozen people who should have died instead of him. He was a funny, fun-loving family guy, who had most of the world to entertain with his antics, and now he's gone. Farewell, and God bless you, Steve...

yeh i am sad, But more so at the fact that people on here keep asking where to view the footage,
Well incase they didn't get it the first 10 times...
The footage is never being released, it was never meant to be released & people have lied if they said terri was thinking of releasing it, The actual footage of his death will be destroyed,
And the filming of that area he had done 10 days prior may still be released into a documentary, ( with steves death cut out) .. but the vibe is, that isn't the way Terri wants to go..
People need to let him rest in peace, he is not even in his grave yet.. xx

I saw the news on my computer 54 minutes after it was posted and was shocked. I'm deeply saddened by his death, of course no where near as sad as his family is. He taught us all a lot about wildlife and he will be sorely missed.

Yes it is sad, but the ones that are taking it the hardest are my kids! My prayers go out to Terri, Bendi, and Baby Bob!

are you sad about the 4 soldiers that died that day, they probably had wives and kids too, all this talk of steve irwin dying is making me hate him. find something productive to do with your life other than worrying about people who don't even care whether or not you exist.

Yes I was very sad and so were my kids. It has only been made harder by the death of Peter Brock in Australia as well.
