Please enlighten me as to why women think the are the center of everything?

Ok, so she's a bride its her day she can act like a complete beotch and noone can say anything because its her ONE day. BS - its not her ONE day, it will be her ONE day for the rest of her life, the wedding, the pregnancies, the babies, the growing children, the grandchildren.

I agree . And I am a woman. Our whole wedding cost less than $150.00. Dress and rings included. Been together 11 years never seperated . My point ,big weddings doesn't guarentee happy endings.

Women are special! Think about who raised you, who loved you more than anyone? Your Mom. But you're right, some women do carry it a bit too far. The bridezilla thing is over the top. Competition to have the "perfect" wedding has created monsters among us. A wedding should be fun and shared with loved ones. Beyond that, chill out, girls.
Men are just as special, but they don't get the same recognition. How many Valentine's Day commercials feature men getting that "special something"? We all need to feel important, regardless of our sex.

That's not true. A wedding day IS the bride's day. It's part of tradition, not because women think they are the center of the world. When a woman is pregnant, everyone coddles her, she has to go through morning sickness, generally being roundly shaped, labor. It's not her nine months at all. A child has taken over her body. On the day tha baby is born, everyone cares about him or her, not the mother, except for maybe the husband and her mother. And it is always about the children, not their mother.

anyone ever consider that theres a MAN involved in a wedding too? just because a woman thinks its HER special day doesnt mean the guy is going to sit back and do nothing. weddings are just as important to us guys as u women, only for some reason u women have taken it over as being YOUR day and dont even think of the guy. women should think of it as a day to take on new responsibility forever, not a day to think of nothing but flowers and happy puppies. and as far as the women, i think its instinct to become a self centered biotch during big days like that. and yes they do need to get over themselves

Wats up with u? Not all women are always trying to be the center of attention. And if a women IS acting like she's the center of attention because she's getting married or having a child then you cant blame her because that truely is a reason to act like that.
