Bad Astronaut is one of my favorite bands right now...They remind me of the post-grunge stuff that was popular 10 years ago, but it is still fresh. They do a good job mixing indie rock and punk rock. The band is fronted by Joey Cape, who is in Lagwagon and Me First & The Gimme Gimmes. (Check out the songs "These Days" and "If I Had A Son")

Also try: Minus the Bear, Whole Wheat Bread (Dirty South Punk Rock), Joe Strummer (R.I.P.) and the Mescaleroes.

***Note: Radiohead is nowhere near indie. They never were indie. Thom's solo CD could be considered indie (but I heard it wasn't that good).
Also, none of the bands that Spoof mentioned are anywhere close to being indie. Most of them are closer to the "emo" category, and they are all on a major label (or a subsidiary of one), and therefore are the antithesis of indie music.
