If they're occurring at the same rate as your pulse, then it's your aorta (the large blood vessel behind the uterus). But this would be unlikely.
If they're not associated with your pulse or are a little irregular, they're almost certainly hiccups. Very cute.
(As long as the baby is moving like normal it's okay. If you have doubts, you should call your doctor.)
Sometimes you can even see the baby practice breathing. Really. It looks like your abdomen is heaving up and down.

More than likely it is the hiccups. I felt the same thing the other night when I was laying down. I am in my 30th week.

It could very well be that the baby has the hiccups. My youngest had them constantly when I was pregnant with her.
It does feel strange doesn't it?

my guess is the same as most others, it's probably just that the baby has hiccups- nothing to worry about- I always thought it was kinda funny feeling those.
good luck with your final weeks!

I have heard that this could possibly be the baby hiccupping. It is quite normal, and does not agitate the baby as it does us as adults...don't worry. Your baby is fine!

Hiccups! Lots and lot of hair, congratulations. My daughter did the same thing. It was actually concerning to me, but thats all it was.
