I did -I cried when I saw hr for the first time at the ultrasound adn when I heard her first heartbeat. I was just in awe and shock. It was the coolest thing around, and something I had never experienced. i was also scared(i was only 16) and I think crying helped. But yes, I crie. I only have one girl though, so I'm not sure about if I'd cry with a second one yet.

CONGRATS!!!

I'm 41 years old and pregnant with my 5th child and I still cry. Maybe not cry but my eyes sure well up. It happened when I had my first sono and everytime I hear the heart beat. I even welled when I had my 2nd sono but of course they wanted the second one because they saw something they couldn't identify on the first so when the 2nd came out ok it was a big relief.
Nothing foolish about loving your baby.

This is totally normal. It is one of the most amazing things in this world when your brain actually registers that there is a living creature in your body that you helped to create. I definitely cried when I heard my daughters the first time and still cry when I watch her ultrasound. That was amazing and I hope to experience that again soon. Congratulation.

this is my first pregnancy. My (then boyfriend, now husband) and I both felt as though we were having an out of body experience. I teared up, and I know he did too. it was such an emotional time for both of us. we had been wanting to have/ start a family over four years.
