Yes! I love the autumn. I love early autumn when the weather is settled and mild, and the leaves are just starting to turn. I love the mid-autumn when the trees are golden and red and brown and the leaves crunch beneath your feet. I love it when the sunsets are fantastic and there's a lovely feeling to the air, and even when the weather's stormy and blustery and you have to start wearing warm clothes. I love Halloween (I'm such a kid!) because my whole family meets up for a party and we dress up and have fireworks and eat apple cake and duck for apples! And I love November when you can just feel a hint of the excitement of Christmas coming up.
I always associate good memories of autumn, being with my friends and going on holiday to Donegal, and sitting in a lovely traditional pub looking out at the choppy ocean and sipping a whiskey sour, walking along the beach early in the morning, listening to jazz music in front of the fire in late Novemember when it's pouring down outside and I'm lovely and warm and cosy... Ahh, it's put me in such a good mood thinking about it... thanks for reminding me it's autumn again!

I don't love one season any more than any other. What I like is the constant change from Summer to Autumn to Winter to Spring and then to Summer again. It's the subtle, ever changing, but never ending process that is so compelling. I love the changes as Autumn comes around - but then revel as Autumn tourns colder and Winter sets in. When Winter gives way to Spring it is so invigorating and hopefull until the coming of Summer brings hot, lazy days and sunshine again. God - I love the changing seasons!

Yes - lovely crisp evening air. Long nights and nice big jumpers and coats. Also the changes in nature are pretty astounding. Autumn leaves are beautiful especially on maples or acers

Yep, I love autumn. I think it's the most inspiring time of year. Maybe it's years of back to school time, but you always feel like starting anew this time of year. The cooler weather is great, the clothes are easier, the air feels fresh and crisp and there is the pre-holiday hopefulness....

Yep....you're absolutely right.

Yeah. The darkness closes in. The birds fly away. Everything is dying. The crows stick around though! Caaaaaaaaaaaw....Caaaaaaaaaaw! The cry of death. I guess it's worth the shivers if the cold takes away the smell of death everywhere. Enjoy.
