It all depends how hard and in effect how deep the wound is from the result of the whipping. i.e. if the whip hits and makes a red line then it will fade within a few hours. If the it hits the skin and breaks it slighlt it will make a slight scab and this will heal over the period of 1.5 - 2 weeks but may leave a slight scar that will fade within a few months. If the whip hits hard and penetrates the skin deply and it bleeds a lot then it will scar for life.
By the way i'm not a person who knows this info due to my bondage experience but my medical knowledge hehe

Theres actully several creams you can purchase to minimize the chance of scarring, of course, i cant think of their names right now. If they are just red marks they are highly unlikey to scar. Are they welts? or broken skin?
Caning imho, is better if your very concerned about scarring, and certainly hurts. If your whipped and caned very frequently over time, very hard, your butt gets a tougher skin on it, but again that takes a while.
Remember S&m can be praticed in a safe and sane enviorment, where you get punished appropriatly but not scarred for life. However, the tone of your post exibits a sub pride in their punishment, so it sounds like your doing just fine.

not many people understand that,as you can tell, but if they were bleeding and not taken care of with peroxide and then neosporin then they will most likely scar, even if they werent bleeding they can cause scars, u can use neosporin and hope they go away, if they do scar I have heard about some scar cream you can put on them, I would ask your pharmasist about it

Hi if youleave them they will but i would keep applying antiseptic cream to the marks and you wont get any scars. Go a little easier next time.

You will be seeing it for a very long time, put some soothing desinfectant cream over it, you won't hold scares, if there's blood involved, then the skin is really damaged and it will scar.

What you described doesn't sound like they will. But if your going to get into S & M or Sadomasicism, you will need to be careful. That kind of "play" can lead to scars if your not careful.
