Yes...my faith in God. I never went church much as a child, but my grandmother was faithful to teach my and my sister. I drift around spiritually until I was in my mid 20s before Jesus fully opened my eyes.

When I was a child I had this plastic soldier that you could throw up in the air and parachute would come out from a hole in his back.I lost it sometime in my childhood and never thought about it again.
Five years ago, while I was pulling up some sod in the backyard,(I was making our patio larger) I found it in again! It was underneath the grass just waiting for me to find it.Finding that toy brought back some childhood memories I had forgotten.
I now have that little toy soldier on a shelf in my bedroom so I can remember just how joyous and carefree childhood can be.

Yeah, a few times. But most of the time when I'm looking for something and I can't find it I just say "Oh, well" and, to my dismay, find it two years later in the same place I left it.

When my daughter was 1 I bought her this thing where cartoon characters pop up, when you push a button. It was about a foot long and about 8 inches wide. We lived in the country and never had company. I am the type of person that keeps everything neat and organized. But this toy came up missing, I looked high and low, it was no where to be found. To this day I still do not know what happened to it. It just vanished! It puzzles me to this day.

Not years later, but it's just as bad...

When I was a kid, I hid my jack-o-lantern in my closet so my cousins wouldn't ruin it. Then I forgot about it. I found it a few weeks later, decomposing into the carpet.

Yes, my favorite pair of earrings that my husband had given me. I lost one of them and didn't find it for nearly two years, and we had moved in that time. When I found it it was stuck down under the carpet that we pulled up in the house we moved into. I know it was mine becasue my husband had my initials engraved on both earrings.
