10 man league, most who actually know something about football. How do I look?

QB - Kurt Warner
WR - Torry Holt
WR - Chad Johnson
WR - Nate Burleson
RB - Cadillac Williams
RB - Deshaun Foster
TE - Jeremy Shockey
W/R - Wali Lundy
K - John Kasay
DEF - Arizona (just cuz of SF)

BNCH - Eli Manning
BNCH - Amani Toomer
BNCH - Dominic Rhodes
BNCH - DeAngelo Williams
BNCH - Mike Vanderjagt
BNCH - NY Giants

I'm gonna try to trade Vanderjagt cuz I don't like the 2 misses from 30 yards and that injury. Anything else I can/should do?? Thanks.

Letter Grade: B+/A-

You are stacked at WR. I love Cadillac, but Foster is a huge injury risk. He has yet to finish a season. At least you handcuffed him.

Your defenses are fine. Just dump Vanderjagt. Let someone else deal with his injury. I'm not sure anyone will trade for him, but you can try. You can always grab a Josh Brown caliber guy off the wire. Kasay is just fine.

ADVICE:

I would start Rhodes over Lundy.

You have a lot invested in the Giants. You might think of unloading a couple of them to ease your bye week burden. Manning has a brutal early season schedule. Run with Warner as long as he's healthy. (I'm sure you're an NY fan, so roll with them if you like, but it is risky...)

I'd say you have an excellent chance of winning your league with that depth. You are going to absolutely roll this week.

Good luck!

10 man league is always tough when you have a pretty good team like yours. Because there are two less teams than the standard 12 player league, everyone has a pretty good team, so the way to win it is through injuries to other teams and trades!

You can only control the trades, so I would suggest finding whoever had Addai as running back and offering him Rhodes, you really don't need him, your backs are ok, but I would try to get a better running back for him. See who he has as a number two running back and offer him Addai. I know, you are thinking, let's say he has Westbrook, no one will trade Westbrook for Rhodes. A smart player always picks his starting running backs back up, if he is smart he will jump at the trade. Rhodes and Addai will split time and if a team has both, they would be looking real good. For example I have both Bell's in my league, I am set for the season, barring they both don't get injured.

I would hold on to Vanderjagt, hes ok when healthy, your receivers are good. You are one player away from the playoffs and I think that player is a running back.

I'm not into Warner; I think if you have him you better get Leinart for insurance. Burleson doesn't score much and hasn't shown he's a #1 reciever. Lundi is not going to pan out; Bush sure would have looked good in that spot. Foster is always injured; good you have Williams. Why the heck do you need a backup kicker? What a waste; kickers are a dime a dozen.

You have an o.k. team.

Good, your backs are not weak. Cadillac is sweet and when Foster goes down with an injury, Williams will step right in. Keep Warner in until he gest hurt or has a tough defense to deal with. With the offensive fire power in AZ, keep him in until you can't anymore.
