Dude, that is so not an English accent. I think he sounds like a surfer dude from California. Laguna Beach to be specific.

It's not English. As said above, he speaks with a 'surfer dude' type accent, very throaty with elongated words. I can't place the accent myself, not being from America.

The closest you're gonna get is classic American "stoner" Phrases "Like.... Dude..... !" and "Whoa !" Watch a movie called "Wayne's World" with Mike Myers and Dana Carvey to get the idea/frame of reference. Also available as a Saturday Night Live skit in the early 1990's

He said something tonight that was very British - I can't remember what it was but it was in the pronounciation.
I always thought he was based on Snake from Escape from New York (played by Kurt Russell). My opinion there, not fact :-)

hes English in one of the episodes it tells you he was a explorer like Indiana Jones but got robbed by Moe of his old gold coins before he could put them in the museum and then vowed to take revenge on Springfield by robbing them.
