Kurt was gorgeous and yes, he has more than a few catchy tunes...but he is also known for creating the "Grunge era"!! His music single-handedly killed off heavy metal! If that's not something to be proud of, then I don't know what is! Nirvana was short-lived because of his death, but if you watch any rock countdown of the greatest rock songs/videos of all time. Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" is almost always in the top 3 if not #1!

Just watched the 100 Most Shocking Moments in Rock and Roll and he looked very depressed in the snippets they showed of him. Probably was not the right person to be taking so many drugs. He and his group changed the face of Rock in the early 90's. Such a waste.
