Ask to speak to your boss alone. Bring up all the reasons you deserve a raise, i.e. more responsibility, good job performance. Then ask if there is anything he /she would like to see improvement in from you. Then finish up with something like " Will i be compensated for taking on more responsibility/ my good job performance?"

Have a plan before you ask. List all of things you do in your job, any special projects you've worked on, experience, etc. Do some research as to what you believe you should be paid, and have some reference material to back it up. Think of the reasons your boss will say no, and have answers ready for those issues.

Compile a list of extra stuff you do to benefit the company and bring it to your boss and ask for a raise.

Just come right and say that you're an asset to the company and dedicated and loyal and deserve some compensation.

ever heard of intuition? well thats what you have when you know you deserve one. If you dont feel that then dont bother asking. if you do feel that then just say hey, I feel as if I am worth more to this company than I was when I was hired....do you think you could bump me up say ________ an hour? I would really appreciate it.
