A labret is a peircing right below the lip. And I already know that it would interfear with a job, that is why I am getting it done before I am old enough to need a job. Then it will be healed and I can just take it out.

They use a needle. My 17 yr old daughter has hers pierced. It didn't hurt that bad, at least from what she says. However, if you are in need of a job or have a job where you deal with the public, this could cause problems. She was fired from her watiressing job because she wouldn't take it out and has had trouble finding a new job.

Stop! Who wants to kiss a gal with jewelry in her lip! Please, you are beautiful like you are! Yes!!! It hurts! Horrible pain. Really, women with their labret's pierced are terrible kissers...plus, infections are common during the first week or so...please...you look wonderful and don't need to puncture your face. Labrets are lame, get the side of your lip or your tongue pierced, its much more sexier, also they use a piercing gun with a holo needle.

i dunno but my sis did it and it really takes away from her beauty...i think she is so beautiful w/o a stupid piece of metal sticking out of her face so i would rethink that!! besides everyone has one!!
