***PLEASE WRESTLING FANS ONLY, THANK YOU***

World Wrestling Entertainment has gotten the popular YouTube.com website to remove all videos that the company doesn't have the rights to or ownership up. Based on what is known, any video with a "WWE" tag on the website will be pulled automatically as soon as the website discovers it.

In addition to WWE policing YouTube, the company has also started to monitor the also popular MySpace.com website as well. The main thing WWE is going after is trying to shutdown accounts where people claim to be WWE superstars (mostly Divas and a few ECW names).

Despite WWE posting an apology by Vince McMahon about Matt Striker's comment regarding the late "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin, ECW.com still has a video clip online of the segment at this link.

Vince McMahon is an egotistical fool.
Mind you he has made a lot money being one.
I cannot stand him or Stephanie

Vince is a reactionary - one to do something before he thinks it out. That's what happened with the Steve Irwin mess. Vince immediately thought "comment on current affairs" instead of all of us he really did offend.
YouTube was really going to far with the "free" mode. After all, WWE makes money with their videos. The MySpace thing has really gotten out of hand with people using the names/images of WWE Superstars! Just think! How would you feel if you "thought" you had made - say - a date with one of the stars, go to the meeting place, and get mugged - or worse! Wouldn't you be upset if WWE could have tried to stop the problem - but didn't? I think WWE is right to try to stop the fake Superstars!

OH MY GOSH! YOU ARE SO ON THE SAME PAGE WITH ME BROTHER.. TOTALLY, THIS DUDE CALLED OVERTHEEDGE ON YOUTUBE MADE THIS FANTASTIC VID OF SHAWN MICHAELS AND HE EDITED HIS SELF ADDED MUSIC ETC. AND THAN I WAS SEARCHING FOR IT, AND THAN IT WAS DELETED BY THE OWNER OF THE WORLD WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT INC. You know, i think they are starting to trackdown Limewire and trying to make them delete all the vids so we cant see the past anymore. Vince sucks, and so does his whole inc. im serious, first they have all these bad storylines and they try to get ratings the bad way, and next, he is there deleting vids made by people themselves mostly, and that is just too far and too much. I so agree with you and that is the best reason you can come up with. Yeah those videos that people make on Youtube, you know, tributes etc, those are footages of the WWE so i understand that Vince doesnt want them there or want us to watch a pay per view on Youtube. But why do they keep the Eddie Guerrero tributes? That doesnt count because he is dead so the videos can stay on, but what about the rest, Vince is so unfair, this is so unfair.. He doesnt have the right to remove those vids..
