What if a person on ssi remarries and their spouse receives more monthly income that their disability check

Sadly when you are on SSI a marraige can be very dangerous. In a marraige both incomes are looked at to determine SSI. If the couple is making more then $860 a month and has more then $3,000 in combined assets then odds are you will lose the SSI.

Better check with who writes the checks on that question.

I think you would loose SSI.
