Sadly, of the artists I like best of all, their debuts or follow-ups are their best. The later work is still good or excellent, but less of a shock, I suppose. Garbage (Garbage), Portishead (Portishead), Offspring (Ignition, Smash), Cranberries (Everybody else.., No need to Argue) and Heather Nova (Glow Stars, Oyster).
Do you notice I'm stuck in the Nineties? ;o)
