Depends on WHERE in the Central Time Zone ... I can guarantee you it will be later in Alabama than in Central Nebraska. Lots of longitude in between.

It gets dark at the same time in each time zone.It is the latitude that decides what the exact time is.The further north in the summer the latter the sun sets.And the reverse in the winter,If it gets dark in your time zone at 8:00. The clock will say 8;00 in all othe zones in your hemisphere at your latitude.

that depends remember the time zone spans from north to south poles, summer here winter there....so if 7 or 8 pm here(norhtern hemisphere).... then prolly 5 or 6 there (being the southern hemisphere)
