OK...First cheack you network conection to makes shur you do not have a setting set to log off after X amount of hourse...Second...You company may be expieriance some technical problems that you should call them and confront about..also check if you dsl line is not getting unpluged from the back of you modem, and make shur that you have full connection. In addition try downloading something and see if you can download at full speed if you can't then you may not all filters installed or something is interfiring with your connection it could also be a problem with you DSL line being to long or not being real good(it may be cut)...this is if you DSL connection get disturbes..ooo try resetting the modem everytime and signing back on that used to fix my problem with bellsouth when i had t hem

Sounds like it may be a SBC feature to save bandwidth for active users. It might also be a modem problem. I had something similar on a random basis and replaced my modem and the problem vanished.

Go into Control Panel and see what settings you have for your computer to shut down. It's a possibility it's set to 3 or 4 hours away time for it to shut down. I don't believe it's you connection. There is one in internet setting that says 'never' shut down.

Assuming you use IE, check Tools > Internet Connections > Settings for a timeout.
