That depends - did you LIKE A Separate Peace? There's a sequel to it entitled Peace Breaks Out.
The Big Sleep by Raymond Chandler is an excellent detective novel - it's the story that the well-known Humphrey Bogart film was based on - and it's non-stop action all the way through. Even if you're not into mysteries - the mystery in this book takes a back seat to the main character - detective Philip Marlowe.
