This is why snow ploughs are in action when no snow has fallen gritting the roads as if they were not in action when the snow started falling then the snow would prevent the driver reaching the depot and from taking the plough out for the hard of thinking I will explain more clearly IN HIS CAR.

V W had a commercial about that in 1966 I think. It asked the same question as you did, then showed a Bug going through about 10 inches of snow. Hey DAVE 313, have you ever been to N W Pa. ? We are in what they call Lake affect country. Sometimes there is almost a foot of that stuff on the ground before they get the plows out, and some of those guys have about 50 or more miles of road to cover.

He has someone come to clear the road from his house with a snow plough.The bloke that brings the snow plough had someone come to his house with a snow plough,then that bloke had someone come to his house with a snow plough.Are you getting it now,easy is'nt it,when you think about it.

after I left the suburbs and moved to the country, all the folk that were no longer employed with the help of the county and had snow ploughs at the front of their vehicles made some sturdy money. people might want to easily call them from their homes and pay them to dig out their driveways. so some distance as being contained in the city - this hurts my head. i have in no way considered an yellow commercial length snow plow parked in the front of my associates homestead! wonderful question ( :

Simple. He is allowed to take it home with him as long as he works for the council. When he leaves he has to give them it back and walk home in snow shoes!!!
