Hi. Don't worry about the God and childbirth curse. That's just a story people made up a long time ago to try to explain why women have pain in giving borth. The answer is just because you are trying to push a baby's head through your vagina. Football through a donut. But again, don't worry. I have had three of the little buggers and it wasn't that bad at all. It hrts for a bit, but you forget about it in one second after the baby is born. You are going to be fine. Your baby will be perfect and you will be a truly wonderful mother.

You misunderstand. While that is a common belief, it is also a wrong belief. The reason that God "cursed" men and women is because of disobedience. When a child disobeys, the child is corrected and forgiven. The consequences will abide. If a toy is taken away, it may be permanently lost to the child. That does not mean that the child is not forgiven. On the contrary, it would be spiteful of God to not allow his creation to learn. The whole Earth and men are cursed as well as women. Also, there is the promise that the pain will be "forgotten" because of the joy experienced with the birth of the baby. It is sad, but there is a great amount of ignorance regarding basic ideas in Christianity. I would encourage people to learn before judging. I too am ignorant; I am just a little less so than some.

I believe in God but personally think a lot of what we hear from the bible was written by man. And for some reason, they are very biased. I once told a male co-worker how i felt when i pms-ed. He said so what you are telling me is that if we fought a war and sent nothing but women, we would win. I said yeah, probably. The point is that men are physically stronger than women and that is why they run things, not us. And they know how powerful we really are. We are why they are here. All we need is sperm (artificial insemination) to reproduce. But they need us. That is why they are able to or were able to say in the bible that we brought all these bad things on humanity. Anyways, do you know when you tell your husband that he can't buy something because you can't afford it? And he does it anyways. You know very well that if it was us, we wouldn't give in to temptation because we d**n well know better. Men know that and that is why they talk so much crap. To make themselves feel better. The main point is that men wrote the bible however they wanted to and blamed everything on us (go figure). Childbirth hurts because you are trying to push a watermelon through a pea size hole. Not because women are sinners and ate an apple they shouldn't have.

Some of us believe that the whole "pain" thing is a mis-translation. If I understand correctly, the hebrew word in the text is the same root family as the words used for Adam's having to toil and work hard to bring forth food from the ground... Childbirth is hard work. It doesn't HAVE to be painful. Some people even experience pleasure while giving birth.

properly, i will chime in, even even with the undeniable fact which you extraordinarily lots comprehend the view element I take...The advent memories are fantasy, attempting to comprehend the commencing place of issues. So, the tale of Adam and Eve is a narrative in answer to the question, why do women human beings journey soreness in childbirth. of direction the classic international view became because of the fact faster or later people have been disobedient. To them, that's what made experience. in case you probably did incorrect you have been punished. i admire the advent memories and early memories of Genesis because you will discover how they got here from the oral custom and have been handed down for the period of the an prolonged time.

Part of the reason it is so painful is because pregnant women are treated like they are ill, pushed about, told what to do. Every other pregnant mammal on the planet does its own thing and things happen easier. Of course doctors are needed if anything goes wrong but no other mammal lies on its back because it is the worst position for pain but the best for doctors to work. It is painful for humans becase the pregnant woman is not important. Ths is not a nature issue but a social one

As for god..... there was no eve, I never came from anyones rib and I never had anything to do with apples. That was written by a sexually repressed man who didnt like women. Simple as.

I am a Christian and I have never heard of such a thing. Thats not to say that its not true but I have never heard or read such a thing.
I gave birth to twins naturally and yes it does hurt, BUT, when you see that tiny face you forget all about the hurt and just focus on the miracle of it all.

To the person who said that "God is Cruel". That is in the old testament, Jesus died for us therefor the new testament is different.

Just the Churches way of oppressing women real simple:). Uhh why experience any type of pain??? (Rhetorical question ;) ) Child birthing is painful for many reason. Given birth without drugs (naturally) I can tell you i was able to identify the different stages of labor. When and when not to push etc how close i am to delivery. Of course now in the 21st we have computers that can do that for us. I as a naturalist would rather let nature do it for me. Thank G-d for that :)

It only hurts because you're squeezing something big out of a little place. It the place was the right size to let a baby out then your bits would just fall out of it all of the time. Then you'd be in a right mess !
