I have to give an Oral Presentation on anything having to do with the spanish culture. What should I do it on? What would you as a student like to see or find interesting? I'm lost. . .I don't want to resort to bringing in food.

Why don't you compare spanish and american holidays or traditions. You can do the same thing for family life, birthdays, entertainment, children's games or toys etc. When I had to do one for grad school I did the same thing for Russia. My professor actually required us to bring in food and it was nice. If you want to be different, try finding different items to bring in for the culture...clothes, the flag, books or art.

I think clothing is always a cool thing to do a presentation on. maybe even wear a traditional something. Posters and pictures with info are good too. If clothes don't interest you, though, find something that does, otherwise you'll be bored to death and not do a good job on it.

How about a report on the origin of Cinco De MAyo. There are lots of resources out there and I bet people don't know it was actually some time in September (I think).
