Atlantic City sucks.......no where near as much fun as Vegas.

If travel budget is an issue, go to Chicago. The bars are open till 4:00 AM and there are tons of clubs and great restaurants.

What Happens Here Stays Here...
Vegas Baby!!!

It is really soo much fun. My favorite hotels to stay at are Bellagio and MGM Grand...they just have everything you could possibly want. I've never been to Atlantic City but i know Vegas is gorgeous. There is so much there to see. It is a huge city that never ever sleeps. Don't forget to visit the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, watch a crazy adult revue show, eat at the Bellagio or MGM Grand Buffet, visit the Luxor--it is so neat, if you're travelling with kids, they have to see Excalibur, see the pirate show at Treasure Island, and ride the Monorail to all the different hotels. Man, i wish i could be there now. :) Oh, and the MGM Grand has an awesome pool with a lazy river. You can just lay out on an inner tube and the river takes you around and around. The Grand Spa is gorgeous too and you can get all kinds of massages, facials, whatever or just get in the saunas/steam rooms, etc. Can u tell i need a vacation?

Happy b-day to him and have a safe trip wherever you decide to go!
:)

attempt Miami or Puerto Rico. both are relaxing cities with large seashores, eating places and nightlife. you could also get direct flights from DC. Atlantic city is okay yet no longer some thing compared to Vegas. also the water is brown and grimy and at cases it has an smell. AC is fairly solid as a visit, yet no more desirable than 2 days.
