I think at the end of the day it will become the most popular form of the game around the world and will help spread the word. Having said that, TEST match cricket will never lose popularity in it's traditional nations as they have it as an ingraned part of summer culture. Australia wouldn't be the same without a boxing day or new years test, followed by ODi circus. But for cricket to take off in the 86 ICC countries, 20-20 is a good way to spread the word, as one of the main obstacles in spreading the game has always been the fact many people can't understand how one match could last for five days....

It's okay to have 20-20 cricket sometimes. But only concentrating on 20-20 will be killing cricket for sure. It will only turn out to be a game for the batsmen, not the bowlers. What is needed is to make good mixture of the original one dayers and 20-20 matches.

I think it shouldn't be only the form in which cricket is played,. But for some change its okay to have 20-20 games for the interest of cricket lovers.

While 20 - 20 game will not actually reflect the calibre of the cricketer especially in batting and bowling, it is a good
entertainer to watch and as such I like it

20/20 has got to be good for the game of cricket, you get great crowds, great hitting and the players all seem to thrive in the atmosphere. The only players i would say wouldn't like it are the bowlers..... but its a bats-man's game now-a-days!!!! I like it.

I am for it. It has more fun, and can be ended in less time. So it is fun to watch. But it is a nightmare for ballers. and by the way, ICC is planning for Twenty/20 world cup next september, so beware, the fun is comming!!!!!!

For it. It is a more exciting form of the game we all know and love. A variation should not destroy the original art form.
