White Lillie's are beautiful flowers, my mum got some when my dad died, they're just very peaceful and pure looking. She really liked them. Sorry about your friends dad, i know how upsetting it is.

If they're as a gift to her, and not for the funeral, avoid white. She's going to see enough of white flowers to last her a lifetime. Stargazer lilies smell good, pink roses or carnations would be nice.
How about something different, other than flowers? She'll probably appreciate any small token from you because its thoughtful of you to do it. What about a nice photo frame?

Well ask your mate what kind of flowers she might like, and if he doesnt know then I would say pink or white carnations and a whole bunch of other little flowers around it. So you dont just have to pick one. And I'm sure whatever you get her, she will like, because its the thought that counts right!?!? =)

One tiny little daisy will do when it comes from the heart.

Why don't you ask your friend what her favourite flowers are, and get some of those. Failing that, lilies are always appropriate at this time.

I would go with white lillys but make sure you buy them closed and dont keep them in water before you give them to the lady.
