Hey, I write songs and I am trying to think of some ideas for things to write about so I was hoping that you could help me out here and give me some ideas. Whether they are one word or a one page ideas. Doesn't matter to me. Any idea any length will help.

If I were to write a song (I've toyed with the idea.), I'd write about real life - the good & the not-so-good. I think we all have a wealth of life experiences to draw upon.

just write about life. what you see, what you don't. what you've experienced, what you want to experience. Your personality should show in your music. Your secrets are also a good subject too.

stay away from the whole government and war things, that's been done too many times by all the wrong people lol. I guess it really depends on the genre of music you'll be making. (rap, rock, country, love, etc.)
