An illigitimate child would be heir to the birth right which was the promise to Abraham?

Yes,Ishmael,was born to the handmadien,that Sarah gave to her husband Abraham....BECAUSE of her impatience to wait on God to bless them with a child...but because of Gods promise to bless Abraham and his heirs....there you go...
