This happened to me with my boyfriend. Right after we moved in together he lost his job. Believe me it almost bothers him more than it bothers you..it bothers men to sit at home and not be able to provide. The best thing you can do is help him in anyway. Putting him down, etc will only make things worse. I helped my boyfriend by looking for suitable jobs online. He called one of them and voila he now has a job! So it will take patience, but never nag...it only makes it worse. Your support is what will help him get through it, and gently coax him into looking, etc...support always works for your benefit.

Well things happen and noone is promised to keep their job forever things can happen and women need to understand that about a guy's job the best you can do is be by his side through this rough time I've had those times before where my husband got laid off from his job but I didn't pick at him or run off on him I supported him and helped him look for jobs the worst you can do is turn your back on somebody especially when it wasn't their fault you shouldn't turn your back on him or get upset just say you'll get another job and we'll be back on track and you will see things will smooth out

ive been in that situation many times just try to be as supportive as you can give him a chance to look for another job even if it takes a little while but of course if he decides to sit on his butt all day for 2 months and not do anything id say something

are you only interested in his money??
if you have feelings for him, you would stick around wether he's got a job or not.. be supportive. You think he's happy he lost his job?

Depending on why they lost their job, you do the honorable thing and stick by them. Be there for them, it sucks when you lose your job, doesn't have to be worse by losing your girlfriend/boyfriend.

As long as he's planning on (and trying to) getting another one, I wouldn't worry about it.
